President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday met with former military Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar.
The meeting between the two leaders was held behind closed-door at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Ahmad Bashir made the disclosure via his Twitter handle while sharing a video of the former President leaving the Villa.
In a terse post, Bashir wrote: “President @MBuhari today received former Head of State, General Abdulsalam Abubakar at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.”
The agenda of the meeting is, however, unknown at the time of filing this report.
Recall that Abubakar alongside his wife, rtd. Chief Judge of Niger State, Justice Abubakar had last week visited the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
Abubakar, who doubles as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Pamo University, was accompanied by the former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Dr Peter Odili and other members of the board of trustees of Pamo University.
